Next Point
Normally, I would steer you and your family away from storing supplies or buying equipment that you can't use, like M249 machine guns because they are expensive, ammo hogs, require specialized equipment to work effectively, take lots of practice to be deadly, and ...
Well, ... There is one area that you might want to disregard that suggestion. It is medical.
Yeap, ... You and your family might want to consider having some surgical supplies, antibiotics, and other medical equipment that you can't use because you don't have the proper knowledge or training.
Let me explain.
There will be doctors, nurses, dentists, veterinarians, and other healthcare professionals that will have a lot of knowledge but no supplies. Supplies that they would need to save you or your family's lives.
Be Careful
I was over at another blog that was talking about the dangers of using fishbiotics; not becasue you don't have the knowledge; because they aren't 'pure' enough for humans usage.
Yeap, ...
Besides needing to have the knowledge about the difference between a gram-positive or a gram-negative bacteria and the knowledge of which antibiotic will work on which infection, you have to worry about the danger that your 'medicine' is really some industrial chemical that will kill you or a family member.
Survival Blog Sucks!
The new format sucks! All the advertisements suck! The writing contest sucks! The pictures suck! All the books suck!
In other words, ... There are better blogs out there for you and your family to read.
P.S.
Just to make sure this post never makes it on Survival Blog because it ... Sucks!!!
Or, ...
To make one of their stooges have to take their time to do some real work copying and pasting all the links, to make an 'article,' so they can download it onto their CD
So, ... The CD doesn't suck
Lastly, ...
Help some other folks out by leaving a recommendation for other prepper blogs that you read, in the comments, like ...
The Modern Survivalist
The Prepper Website
