Dear Preppers and Survivalists,
|A Pencil (2010)|
A couple of days ago, I linked to a video that the presenter talked about trying to find information, on the internet, about prepping.
One of the presenter's laments was the lack of 'A List,' for him and his family to use to purchase all the equipment that, supposedly, would insure his family's survival.
Don't laugh. You were looking for one too when you showed up here.
Folks, I'm going off on a tangent, so bear with me
One of the first things you and your family need to do is complete an inventory. This inventory will tell you all the things that you have for survival.
In other words, ...
Once you know 'What you have' then you can decide 'What you need'

Needless to say, ...
You and your family and friends will make sure you are carrying a survival kit that has a ...

Neither do I, so ... Back to my point.
Some folks advocate to place a pencil with note paper in your survival kit. The pencil allows you to leave a note, if you're abandoning your car for that long walk home, after it breaks down.
The note tells a potential rescuer: What direction you're going. Who is with you. What time you lef, and anything else you have to say.
Now some people suggest carrying a ...

Now, some folks will disagree with me and suggest carrying a grease pencil instead becasue the grease pencil can be used to leave a note on lots or other things, just not paper, like ...
* The driver side window
* Painted side of a building
* Hunk of plywood
* Your skin

Needless to say, some folks are wondering, ... Why would I write on my skin, much less anyone else's skin.
