Eat What You Store
A few years ago, the article's author and Hannah were having a disagreement about whether electricity would be available during an event. The article's author believes families should plan to live without it, while Hannah thinks electricity will be available, on a limited bases.

Either way, ... Orange juice, in food storage, that's outrageous.

Gathering
During the depression of the early 1930s, families gathered some of their food from local sources, by trapping and hunting.

Of course, trapping is easy and more economical then hunting.
