Just a Matter of Time
A few weeks ago; heck, it could have been months; I wrote about how the coming financial collapse of these United States is going to happen. Yeah, ... It's just a matter of time.
Our country is in debt, about $20,000,000,000, according to the US Debt Clock. That works out to be over $60,000 per citizen or $165,000 per taxpayer.
Think about it. If you're a taxpayer, you owe our creditors the price of a nice home, here in OPSEC Land. Not a shack, but a 2000 to 2400 sq. ft. home with 5 to 10 acres, just outside of town. A home in town will run you about $60,00 if you and your family shop around. These 'town' homes have a small lot that you can have a small garden and possibly raise ...
Back to my point.
We, you and your family, still might have time to get prepared for this event.
But, ... You have to change your habits.
That's right, you need to quit borrowing money, get out of debt, and save some cash.
Some of you are going to discount these suggestions, but I want you to think about this.
First, if you owe the bank money on your home, what happens "If" you can't pay the mortgage. They'll foreclose on your home and kick you and your family to the curb.
The same goes for your vehicle. Heck, you could lose your vehicle, to a foreclosure, then you couldn't easily get to work. What would your boss do if you where late everyday for a week? Be sympathetic?
I doubt it.
Next, how do you plan to pay your taxes? With gold and silver?
During a depression, everything becomes 'less' valuable, so your gold coins, that you bought at $1,200 each, or the silver coins, that you bought at $20 a piece, become worth half or one quarter of their previous value.
If you're able to sell them because people are using all their money to buy scarce food.
That's right.
Farmers can't buy seed because their crops are bring in less cash. With less cash coming in and less planting going on, less food is produced. Which leads to inflation!, in certain items, such as the necessities of life, potable water, healthy food, protection, healthcare, and many others.
Think about this one for a moment. The City Administrator or some government official decided to change Flint, Michigan's water supply to save money!
In other cities, the Government reduces the number of Police Officers, Firefighters, and Emergency Medical Staff.
Back to my point, again.
If you can't pay your taxes, guess what happens? Yeap, they seize your home, kick you to the curb, and sell the house to the highest bidder.
Trust me, there will be some financial advisor, hedge fund, or other scumbag there to buy it. Plus, they will be happy to rent it back to you, for a price.
