Gloating
I have been lucky, the last few weeks.

I was able to pick up three (one large and two extra-large) surplus U.S. Army polypro jackets for $5.00 a piece, at the local charity store.

Yeah, ... The black, thick ones with underarm zippers that look kind'a civilainy, not military like the foliage green ones.

 Of course, I was very lucky to find these jackets.

Another recent find was a pair of gortex lined boots, in my size, for $15.

The boots are in good shape with lots of wear still in them.

Thoughts
Needless to say, the foliage green jackets, with velcro strips for name tapes, shout prepper or survivalist, so the black jackets won't stand out during an event.

Unless, we wear them under our British Desert camoflauge gortex jackets ; - )
