Have you heard about the 'Handmaiden' protests. It seems some women are dressing up as a television character. Needless to say, the television character is based on the book The Handmaid's Tale. (Don't read the link from Wikipedia, yet)

In the book, a devastating event has taken place, and a radical religious group has taken control of these United States. (Now, you can read the link from Wikipedia, unless you are planning to read the book).

In other words, it's a good, easy to read, short fictional book for preppers and their family to read.

But, ...

A poor book to base your politics protests on.

And, ...

That's the same for you and your family's preps.

Yes, Partiots, Divergenat series, and many other fictional books are fun, (might be) informative, and ??? but they are a poor source for building your threat analysis on, stocking your food pantry, and buying your defensive weapons,

While, ...

Nonfictional books, histories, and other factual events are best to use for your plans to survive an event.

Things You Might Want to Think About

Bank of Canada
As you know, citizens pay loan interest based on the interest their banks are paying for that money. This means, a bank borrowing money at .75% is charging 3 to 4 % interest on a family's home.

Pretty good deal, for the bank

The only problem, ... The government may start to pay higher interest rates on their bonds, too.

O.K. it's not the only problem because folks, that loan money to the government (that's what a bond really is), might start to want to be paid a higher interest rate, ...

And Higher, ...

And Higher, ...

Until, our countries can't afford to pay their bills.

Consequences
Wow, ... All because a teenager sprays some paint on a wall.

Illegal Immigrant
Folks, there's a legal way to enter this country. This man didn't do it or attempt to do it for 28 years.

So, ... Good luck to him, in his home country, Mexico.

Joe
So, ... What you're saying is that Mr. Scarborough is 'crazy.'

Malabar 2017
Wow, ... This exercise has been going on since 1992.

Notice
At the very end, ... "thereby fostering a stronger pace of wage and price increases."

Okinoshima

Yeap, ... I agree. No women and No visiting 'cause tourists will just screw it up.

Predators
No matter "If" it's real or not.

Villains will take advantage of your children, so make sure you're monitoring your children's social media!!!

Teens, Part One
And, ...

Teens, Part Two
Folks, if you don't know this yet, listen very carefully.

Your teenage children are ignorant, about how dangerous things really are.

So, ...

You need to watch them like hawks.

War
One lesson or thought that I would like for you to take from this article.

Other countries are still moving forward on their weapons development.

Overheard

"If you want to have a low-trust society, erode public faith in the law."

"A “biological annihilation” of wildlife in recent decades means a sixth mass extinction in Earth’s history is already well underway and is more severe than previously feared, according to new research."

"In terms of our economy, there are indications that our financial buffers are thinning to the point of failure."

"Religious minorities were particularly vulnerable to these atrocities, with Christians being given the horrific choice to 'pay a protection tax, convert to Islam or be killed,'" Goldsmith wrote in his decision."

"We drift in a sea of historical fraud."

"I will continue to rail against NRA dragging itself into the right culture wars, because I do ultimately think while we may see short term benefit in it, long term it’s not a winning strategy. But I’ve made big bets against the NRA before and turned out to be wrong."

"It’s another reminder that Progressives must be treated like rage zombies or highly contagious disease carriers."
