Nonfiction
These types of books are books that deal in facts. They provide information that, to a certain extent, have been tested, by the author. Of course, they probably cover every subject that you might be interested in.

One place is Backwoods Home. They have many different books and anthologies of their magazine.

Another is Storey Publishing. They also have many different books on a multiple of subjects.

Sad to say, Rodale Press is no longer in operations. They were bought up by Hearst Publishing, in 2017. There is good news, though, places like Thrift Books still has some of Rodale's organic gardening books, in stock, so does Amazon, but you're going to have to wade through similar books.

Another source is these United States' Army. The General Dennis J. Reimer Training and Doctrine Digital Library (RDL), now called the Army Doctrine and Training Digital Library, has many, many, many different military manuals on a variety of subject. The U.S. Marine Corps has also has many military manuals, on-line. The same goes for these United States' Air Force, such as ...
