Winter is a dark time when nothing will grow.

This darkness requires a family to store food to eat, sometimes for months.

Winter is brutal, so some people will steal, hurt, and kill to survive.

This brutality requires your children to arm themselves and their family.

Winter can cause injury

These injuries require your children to be prepared to give first-aid to their families.

Winter can kill

The possibility of a parents' Death requires your children to teach their children to survive the coming winter, too.
