Weekly Dose of Doom and Gloom with a Ray of Sunshine

Welcome Preppers and Survivalists,

The first dose of doom and gloom is a commentary; I found at Spiegel: Online.

The next dose comes from Jungle G. He told me last Friday that the police were using the Active Denial System (ADS) on the Occupy protesters. Since the Active Denial System was developed by these United States' military, I was interested in its use here in these United States.

Well, I haven't been able to find any reports of the ADS use, but I found an article about the possible use of the Long Range Acoustical Devices (LRADs) by the police.

To make a long story short, I am pointing this out because the use of these systems by law enforcement on peaceful protesters (even without permits) infringes on the citizens' rights to "peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."
